No More Empty Pots is a grassroots nonprofit that engages community in local foods systems initiatives. Our values are education, stewardship and sustainability. Our mission is to help people become more self-sufficient and communities become more economically resilient with local foods as our focus. Our projects include Truck Farm Omaha, a mobile urban agriculture education project primarily serving youth; Community Market Basket, a community CSA that provides fresh fruits and vegetables to all customers, including SNAP; and No More Empty Cups, a nonprofit community coffee shop, that provides employment, entrepreneurship training, and community gathering space.
